In choosing to die

In choosing to die
You leave voids
In the past and the future
With some possibilities realized
And some unrealized

In choosing to die
The loneliness that you give
To your loved ones
Is filled neither by mourning
Nor by passing of time

In choosing to die
You leave those half-dead
Who were learning from you
To fight
And to live

In choosing to die
You strangulate those dreams
Whose flight of wings
Hinged upon your shoulders
And your constant progress

If only someone would come
In the moments
You were preparing the noose for yourself
And convince you that
You've been blessed with this life only once
What's harm in giving it a fight
What's harm in living it to the fullest
